Hi, I’m Susann! 👋🏻
I’m a freelance illustrator and visual artist based in Hamburg with a focus on childrens’ media, brand illustration and illustrated products. I’ve published six board books and illustrated several children’s books and book covers for different age groups.
I work with a focus on figurative, narrative illustration. My work centers on characters, relationships and everyday moments, combining a warm visual language with a thoughtful and inclusive approach. I pay attention to creating illustrations that are respectful and diverse, helping clients communicate their ideas with clarity and care.
I’m passionate about creating engaging visuals and am always open to projects that value expressive, socially conscious illustration. I have done work for Adobe, Prime Video, Galison, Penguin RandomHouse and Techniker Krankenkasse, among others.
